About the Area

Spain's sunny Northern Costa Blanca has been popular with tourists and particularly Northern Europeans for many years. A temperate, all year round climate offering an average of 320 days sunshine each year adds to the attraction. In comparison to some of Spain's other "Costas", the Northern Costa Blanca occupies probably no more than a 30km to 40km stretch from Altea in the South to the vast sandy beaches of Denia in the North.

The landscape of the Northern Costa Blanca contrasts significantly with that in the South with breathtaking mountain views and lush, green vegetation in the Jalon Valley with its orange and lemon groves, almond and olive trees and famous vineyards.
